“Being a director, I knew the grammar, but interacting with Shahrukh, Akshay, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek, Anupam Kher, Ritesh Deshmukh, Johnny Lever, even the new lot like Alia, Ranveer, Kartik, Arjun, Kriti Sanon, Vicky Kaushal and top directors like Meghna Gulzar, Anand Rai, Rohit Shetty, Karan Johar, Vasan Bala, and producers like Sajid Nadiadwala, I got to see the way such huge stalwarts prepare, be it acting, producing, or directing.”

He added, “I silently observed them and learned a lot. Also, acting these days introduced me to today’s style and audience acceptance. The web shows I did taught me a new subtle and real space of performance. Directing Manoj Bajpayee, Tabu, Irrfan Khan, Boman Irani, and many more superstars taught me so much. Each of them has a body of work that’s like a treasure chest. And it helped me to constantly evolve.”

Sabir’s passion for cinema goes beyond just performing; he is a keen observer and storyteller.
